Noises while recording...

One of the things i like more of recording myself playing is the possibility of hearing little annoying noises that I -or even the hardware- make while playing.
I think i?m getting much better on that -not making them-, but i there?s something i can?t figure it out...
I like to stomp my left foot on the hihat when playing say, 8th notes on the hihat...It makes me feel the time a lot better... but when listenings back, the sound of my feet stomping over the metal plate is noticeable... I don?t know if i?m being clear.
Anyone has the same problem? Any possible solution -beside stop moving the feet!-?

The microphone shouldn't be picking that up. Are you playing very quietly?

Drumming sort of person, if i listen just the hihat mic, I certainly hear it... And that can?t happen when recording with a band. The biggest problem is when i?m playing straight jazz, playing the ride and closing the hats on 2 and 4.
I like to stomp the feet on all the quarters, and on 1 and 3 (when the cymbal is closed) i can hear the tap.
Ashio nz, i play heel up most of the time, mainly because I like to use my left leg to keep the time as tight as i can. I play heel down too, but this specific problem is related to playing heels up.
Anyone has the same problem?

That's surprising. The level of the hi-hat cymbals should render the sound of your foot inaudible. I would suggest trying different shoes, with a softer sole. Perhaps your hi-hats are very thin and quiet. I can't imagine the noise from your foot being that much of a problem.
